The Butterfly Life Cycle

Hi Kindergarten Families,

Thank you for all your support during our At Home Learning. We had a wonderful week of learning in Room 108!

The butterflies came out of Chrysalis! This was a very exciting way to begin our in class learning. We have been using the "I see, I think, I wonder" statements to guide our conversations. We were very curious, made observations and had wonderful conversations about our butterflies and the butterfly life cycle.  Yesterday the butterflies were released outside :)

We are continuing to work on identifying and reading the popcorn words! We have been dancing and singing along to Jump out Words by Jack Hartmann.

This week we were Popcorn Word Detectives. We used our detective skills to search around the room for the popcorn words and record the words in our graphic organizers. This was a fun activity the students enjoyed searching around the classroom.
